I didn't make a title for this poem because I couldn't have put all my feelings into words.

I never thought you'd leave,

It shows how wrong we can be

I never thought you'd go,

And I know the pain helps us grow

But I want the pain to disappear,

And reappear another year,

Maybe when I'm old and cranky,

Not young and lanky.

You'll never get to do vault or floor

Or go through the door,

From just a gymnast to a pro,

Because that's where you should go,

You'll always be a shinning star,

No matter where you are,

Maybe you could come back for one more day,

And we could say good-bye another way.
